- A flexitank is a flexible container made of durable polymer materials designed to transport liquids (such as water, fuel, food or chemicals) in standard containers or trucks.
Flexitanks are used for:
- Transportation of liquids (water, wine, oil, juices, fuel, etc.).
- Temporary storage of liquids.
- Logistics optimization (one container can be used for different types of liquids).
- Food products: water, wine, milk, vegetable oils, juices.
- Non-food products: fuel, chemicals, oils, lubricants.
- Other liquids: industrial water, liquid fertilizers.
- High-temperature cargo: bitumen, temperature-sensitive chemical cargo
- Space saving: after use, the flexitank can be rolled up, which reduces the cost of return transportation.
- Versatility: suitable for different types of liquids.
- Cost reduction: cheaper than tanker transportation.
- Ease of installation: the flexitank can be quickly installed into a standard container.
- The flexitank is unfolded inside a standard container (20 or 40 feet).
- Secured using fastening straps.
- Through special valves it is filled with liquid.
- After delivery, the liquid is drained, and the flexitank is cleaned and rolled up.
Volume depends on container size:
- 20ft container: up to 24,000 liters.
- 40ft container: up to 26,000 liters
- Drain off any remaining liquid.

Flexitank can be used once (single-use)
- Do not transport aggressive chemicals unless the flexitank is designed for this purpose.
- It is necessary to follow the rules for transportation and storage of liquids.
- After use, the flexitank must be thoroughly cleaned.
- Determine the type of liquid (food, chemical, fuel, etc.).
- Check the transportation volume.
- Check compatibility with your container.
